Description: Lot of (2) Whitey Ford presentational trophy plaques to include: 1977 Vernon Downs Harness Racing plaque with large applied figural horse and driver. Brass placard is inscribed, "Whitey Ford Winner Over Mickey Mantle in Yankee Pace Vernon Downs Aug. 11, 1977". 13"x16" mahogany plaque includes a matted and framed 8"x10" image picturing Whitey and Mickey Mantle racing with horse drawn harness carriages: EX-MT; and a 1974 Pompano Park "Baseball Harness Racing Championship" plaque. 11"x14" mahogany plaque with applied brass facade engraved with titling and an embossed harness racing medallion: EX. Both plaques have been signed on the front by Whitey Ford in black sharpie. Includes LOA from JSA and two individual letters of provenance from Whitey Ford.
