B.Brown AL ball thrown out by Whitey Ford for Game #2 played at Yankee Stadium between the Texas Rangers and the New York Yankees. The game would prove to one of the most memorable of the 1996 postseason as the Yankees won in 12 innings with Derek Jeter scoring from second base on a bunt play. Inscribed on the sweet spot, "Opening Ball Oct. 2, 1996 Yankees vs. Texas Playoff" and signed by Ford on the panel beneath. Includes LOA from JSA and letter of provenance from Whitey Ford: NM
