Description: Elston Howard 1965-68 professional model baseball bat. Louisville Slugger 125 model bat measures 36" long and weighs 32oz. The bat shows outstanding use with ball marks throughout the hitting surface, cleat marks and rack marks. Pine tar remnants remain on the handle, which has been scored by Howard. A slight crack is evident on the back of the barrel. Model #K55 is stamped on the knob and HowardÆs number 18 is written in black marker. Howard wore #18 while playing for the Boston Red Sox in his final two seasons (1967 and 1968). The bat shows numerous rack marks and Houk has signed the barrel end in blue sharpie.
