Description: Exceptional Roberto Clemente professional model baseball bat c.1961-64. Louisville Slugger 125 model measures 35" long and weighs 30.2oz. The bat exhibits fine evidence of use including ball marks, distinct stitching impressions, cleat marks, and grain swelling. Model #U1 is stamped on the knob end along with "21" written boldly in black marker. Both the Louisville Slugger manufacturer stamp and the Clemente facsimile signature stamp remain in fine original condition. Obtained directly from Clemente by the stadium security employee in the period. The offered Clemente game used bat is without question one of the finest that we have handled with regard to condition, use characteristics, and direct provenance.
