Description: 1962 New York Mets inaugural season mementos incl. rare full ticket to first home game. Group of four paper items includes: 1962 Mets scorecard/program, unscored with only final score pencil notations on centerfold scoring grid: VG/EX; 1962 Mets season schedule: EX-MT; unused pass to the Met Lounge at the Polo Grounds for the Mets first home opener on April 13, 1962: EX-MT; and full unused ticket to Mets first home game on April 13, 1962. Rare and desirable ticket has some light creasing. Technically GD-VG, but presents better. Outstanding lot commemorating the Mets first season in which they won the hardened hearts of fickle New York baseball fans in spite of less than stellar results on the diamond.
