Description: Vladimir Guerrero game used baseball bat that hit Tommy Lasorda during the 2001 MLB All-Star game. Mondesi Louisville Slugger 125 model professional bat used by Vlad Guerrero in the 2001 All-Star game shows evident use incl. ball marks and pine tar residue and has been signed by Guerrero on the barrel. While Guerrero was hitting, the knob end of the offered bat separated from the barrel, which flew down the third base line striking Tommy Lasorda in the hip. Lasorda, who was coaching third base, tumbled backward as fans in the stadium held their collective breath. When it was clear that he was OK, the majority of the stadium began smiling. Lasorda said at the time, "It wasn't scary or anything, but everybody made such a big thing of it." Comedic and historic moment from the 2001 All-Star Game played in Seattle, which was one of the highlights of the event.
