Description: Pair of Thurman Munson Handball trophies. Includes 1971 "CAC Singles Champion Class A" trophy standing 9" tall with figural player on top: EX-MT and "CAC Doubles 1st" trophy standing 12" tall with figural player on top. The nameplate is slightly off center: VG-EX. According to Diana Munson, Thurman's infrequent practice while playing baseball on the road would infuriate his handball opponents. Whenever Munson returned home, he would, on most occasions, defeat the most seasoned handball player who often competed on a daily basis. Includes two individual letters of provenance from Diana Munson.
