Description: 1964 Thurman Munson "Canton Repository All-Stars" figural baseball trophy. Geometrical wooden trophy stands 12" tall with a figural cast metal batter at the center. Inscribed silver placard is affixed to the front, "Canton Repository All-Stars 1964 Thurman Munson 2nd Base". Condition is very fine overall with minimal age and handling wear. Awarded to Munson at the age of 17 by a Canton area newspaper for being an outstanding high school player. Includes letter of provenance from Diana Munson: EX-MT
