Description: Spalding baseball advertising display sign c.1910-15. Original 14"x20" cardboard sign was likely displayed in a sporting goods store front window to advertise Spalding baseball products. The center portion of the display pictures an image of a Spalding National League baseball with a full game scene in progress in the background. Red lettering above and below the center imagery advertises several baseball games in the Ohio area. The sign itself has some typical surface toning from age with some minor chipping at the edges. The bottom edge of the sign has been slightly trimmed (appears to be approx. 1/4" to 1/2) which does affect some of the writing. Blank back has some period ink notations written in large lettering.
