Description: Rick Wise 1964 Phila. Phillies road jersey. Grey flannel jersey retains its original Phillies embroidered team name across the front. "Wise" is chain stitched onto a strip tag inside the collar with Wilson tag and "1964" strip tag on the tail front. The back has a period team issued #62 which was a replacement of Wise's original #18. "Wiltshire"is written in black marker inside the neck and a 1969 MLB 100th Anniversary patch is affixed to the sleeve indicating that the shirt was sent down to the Minor Leagues at a later date. Signed on the tail front, "Elias, Rick Wise 5-3 1964" in black ink. The jersey remains in fine overall condition with two chipped buttons. The infamous collapse of the 1964 Phillies remains one of the most epic in Major League history making related artifacts highly sought after. Includes LOA from JSA and Hunt Auctions: EX
