Description: ***UPDATED DESCRIPTION*** 1955 Bobby Thomson Milwaukee Braves home jersey. Fine original cream color flannel jersey worn by Bobby Thomson as a member of the 1955 Milwaukee Braves. Jersey retains its original "Braves" embroidered logo across the front with #34 on both front and back. Wilson tag, dry cleaning tag, and "55" chain stitched year tag remain affixed to the tail front. The shirt exhibits evident use including light surface pilling and general light wear. Attractive Braves logo patch is found on the left sleeve. The jersey was originally obtained by a member of the Eau Claire Braves who had received the jersey once it was handed down to the Minor League team by the Mil. Braves. Exceptional period shirt once worn by the iconic hero of the 1951 National League playoff series with his "Shot Heard Round the World" home run.
