Description: Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig auto. baseball c.1927-28. Off white Rawlings "Special League" ball with red and green stitching is signed by Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. The Ruth signature occupies the sweet spot in blue fountain pen rating 8/9 out of 10. Gehrig has signed on the adjacent side panel in black fountain pen rating 8 out of 10. The ball itself has only some very minor surface wear including a couple of faint age spots mentioned for accuracy only. Highly attractive condition exemplar with desirable (and uncommon) signature placement allowing for mutual display. Includes LOA from JSA: Ball: EX-MT, Signatures: NM
