Description: Scarce New York Cubans auto. baseball with Alex Pompez and Martin Dihigo. Moderately toned and game used Royal "Official League" baseball signed by (4) members of the 1935 New York Cubans of the Negro National League. The sweet spot displays the signatures of Hall of Fame members Alex Pompez and Martin Dihigo ranging from 4-6 out of 10. Luis Tiant Sr. and Alexandro Oms have signed a side panel rating 4-5 out of 10. Period ink inscription, "New York Cubans 1935" is written in blue fountain pen on the opposite side panel of the ball. In addition to the high desirability of vintage Negro League autographed baseballs, with note to the signatures of Dihigo, Tiant, and Oms, the presence of Alex Pompez on a baseball is of notable scarcity.
