Description: Exceptional Commissioner Bowie Kuhn presentational sterling silver tray with crystal glasses by Tiffany & Co. Substantive handled sterling silver tray with a total weight of 140oz. presented to Commissioner Kuhn in recognition of his service to Major League Baseball from 1969-1984. The front of the tray is inscribed, "Bowie K. Kuhn Commissioner of Baseball 1969-1984 An Outstanding Leader Given in Great Appreciation and With Affection" along with the names of all (26) Major League teams beneath. Marked "Tiffany & Co Makers Sterling Silver" on the reverse. The tray itself remains clean overall with some typical surface scratching: EX-MT. Included with the tray are (26) accompanying crystal wine glasses each with an etched logo of the (26) Major League Baseball teams. 9" tall each: NM. Attractive and significant presentational set with highly desirable provenance from the personal collection of the Commissioner of Baseball. Includes letter of provenance from the Kuhn family.
