Description:Japanese two-panel folding screen (20th Century). Painted panels have floral brocade trim and a black lacquer frame. Screen portrays a ôNoö actor as Benkei, a famous rowdy hero. The actor is dressed in elaborate headgear, facemask and wisteria robe. Signed ôEirinö. Tatsuro Ishida, owner of Fuji Television, presented the screen to Commissioner Kuhn. Includes the original box and shipping crate.
