Description: President Richard Nixon single signed baseball. Off white Cronin AL ball signed on a side panel by President Richard Nixon in black ink. The signature rates 9 out of 10 with a few areas of light smudging. The ball was obtained by Commissioner Kuhn during the 1969 Baseball Centennial festivities held in Washington D.C. in conjunction with the All-Star Game. The torrential rain storms that postponed the game for a day were also the likely culprit for the slight smudging on the ball. Presidential single signed baseballs with primary source provenance rarely become available and are highly coveted. Includes LOA from JSA and letter of provenance from the Kuhn family: Ball: NM, Signature: EX/MT-NM (with note to smudging)
