Description: Ty Cobb photograph c.1913. Sepia tone 3 1/2"x 6 1/2" image picturing Cobb leading off base with a grandstand in the background. Stamped "May 23, 1913" on the back with period handwritten notation, "How Cobb takes long lead off first". Condition is very fine with a tiny corner chip. Likely taken by noted photographer Paul Thompson based on composition format and image size in comparison to another documented Cobb image by Thompson which was stamped on the reverse: EX
