Description: Babe Ruth auto. personal check. Dated January 24, 1936 personal check is signed at the bottom, "G.H. Ruth" in black fountain pen. Signature rates 9 out of 10 and remains free of any cancellation marks. The check itself has a 1 1/2" slit that runs diagonally from the word "Trust" in the bank name to the very top of the "G" in Ruth's signature likely from a cancelled check punch stand. Includes LOA from JSA: NM (with note to cancellation slit)
