Description: Significant Roger Crozier's 1965-66 Conn Smythe Trophy plaque. Original mahogany and bronze plaque awarded to Crozier as the Most Valuable Player of the Stanley Cup Playoffs during the 1965-66 season with the Detroit Red Wings. Measures 11 1/2"x11 3/4". Exhibits minimal surface wear mainly to the wooden backing. The offered award was just the second of its type in NHL history with the first award (1964-65) going to Jean Beliveau. Includes a letter of provenance from the estate of Roger Crozier along with a vintage framed 9"x12" image of Crozier in goal for the Red Wings.
