Description: Scarce Spalding Christmas Tree advertising store display c.1950s. Full standing die cut cardboard Christmas tree store display advertising Spalding athletic goods stands 68" tall with three tiers of "branches". Colorful piece was used in stores to display various pieces of Spalding sporting goods during the holiday season. The display remains very clean with strong original colors exhibiting only light general wear to a few areas. The lot also includes its original Spalding shipping box (staining) and the assembly instructions (display breaks down to flat sections). Given the obvious limited production of such displays, and the low survival rate, the offered example is surely one of only a handful remaining: EX-EX/MT
