Description: 1958 Marv Grissom San Francisco Giants home uniform. Cream color flannel jersey retains its original "Giants" lettering across the front with #42 on the reverse. "M.Grissom" is chain stitched onto a strip tag inside the collar. Wilson tag is affixed to the tail front along with a chain stitched "1958" strip tag. The jersey shows evident use and also has a small stain spot at the bottom of the shirt back. Matching pants are tagged as 1956 with Wilson mfg. tagging and "22" player number handwritten inside the waist. Desirable Giants flannel dating to the inaugural season in San Francisco with note to the fact that retired #42 (for Jackie Robinson) is the original number on the reverse.
