Description: Imperial size 1925 Pittsburgh Pirates team photograph from the collection of Bill McKechnie. Huge 20"x28" matted and framed sepia tone image pictures the World Champion Pittsburgh Pirates posed at Forbes Field. Players include McKechnie, Traynor, Carey, and Cuyler. Marked by photographer R.R. Hay at the bottom right. The image quality is of the highest order for its size with exceptional detail and contrast. The photo has some surface creasing in a few areas incl. the left edge along with an 11" horizontal tear at the right edge which could be restored if so desired. These oversized team photographs were given to the members of the Pirates with the offered example being one of only a few surviving copies. Includes letter of provenance from James McKechnie: EX (With note to tear/creasing)
