Description: Pittsburgh Pirates team panoramic photograph c.1925-26. Original sepia tone 5 1/2"x14" image picturing the World Champion Pirates posed in uniform at Forbes Field. 1925 World Series patches are positioned on the left sleeve of the jerseys. Players include Traynor, Carey, McKechnie, Clarke, and Cuyler. Stamped by Pittsburgh photographer Walter Thiesen on the reverse. The photo remains very clean with the exception of a tape repair to a vertical line tear at the right side. Includes letter of provenance from James McKechnie: EX-MT (with note to tape repair)
