Description: 1927 Home Run Derby Louisville Slugger advertising display piece featuring Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig. Thick stock paper poster dated August 1, 1927 measures 14"x18" and pictures Ruth and Gehrig in Yankees uniforms at the top left. Bottom area depicts a chart outlining the race for the 1927 home run title. At the time of printing, Ruth had 34 and Gehrig 37. Verbiage at the top denotes that both players, and the other New York Yankees, all use Louisville Slugger bats. Clean overall with light original fold lines and a line area of toning along the center fold at the bottom panel. Fine period display piece dating to the famed 1927 Yankees featuring Ruth and Gehrig.
