Description: Lou Gehrig auto. government postcard. Signed on the unlined side, "Best Wishes Ray Lou Gehrig" in black fountain pen. Card is postmarked May 7, 1938. Signature remains very bold rating 9 out of 10. The reverse of the card is also hand addressed to the recipient (Ray) by Gehrig. Card itself has some very minor creasing and a small abrasion in the cancellation at the top of the reverse. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication: Card: EX, Signature: NM-MT
