Description: Rare 1936 Harold "Muddy" Ruel Chicago White Sox road jersey. Attractive grey flannel jersey retains its original "Chicago" lettering across the front with #38 on the reverse. Spalding tag remains affixed inside the collar with "Ruel 38" chain stitched alongside. Small "36" is chain stitched into the back of the tail indicating the year of 1936. Overall condition remains outstanding with appropriate age wear and strong original color. Offered for the first time publicly by the family of the original recipient.
