Description: Baseball scoreboard c.1920-30s. Enormous 48"x78" fiberboard scoreboard used to post the scores for American and National League baseball games as they came through on the wire. Had painted surface retains a fine original patina with scores having been written in chalk on the front of the board. The edges have some typical wear incl. chipping at a few areas. Very attractive display piece with folk art appeal: VG
