Description: Charlie Wagner 1974/75 Boston Red Sox home uniform. White knit jersey retains its team name on the front with #27 on the reverse. Tim McAuliffe tagging is present inside the tail along with "1974" and "44" tagging. "WAG" is written in period black marker inside the tail: EX. Includes matching pants with Tim McAuliffe tagging on the interior along with "1975" year tag and "36", "24" size tags. "WAG" is also written in period black marker inside the waist: EX. Both uniform pieces exhibit evident use including some appropriate light staining and wash wear. Charlie Wagner served as Red Sox consultant and Minor League pitching instructor into the 1990s, entering his seventh decade of service to the team. Desirable uniform dating to the Red Sox glory seasons of the mid 1970s. Includes LOA from Hunt Auctions, Inc. and letter of provenance from the Wagner family: EX
