Description: Estate collection of (185) 1909-11 T-206 baseball tobacco cards. Diverse grouping consisting of HOF'ers, common players, star players, common backs, and back rarities. The entire collection originates from a single private estate grouping. Each card was given a very light clear coat in the period, but the card backs remain as issued. Includes (29) HOF players such as Cobb, Young, Johnson, Speaker (Cycle back), Lajoie, Tinker, Chance, and Jennings. The lot also includes Cicotte, (2) Chase, Leach, Street, Lobert, Merkle, and Snodgrass. Backs include Cycle, Pied., Sw. Cap., P.Bear, Amer. Beauty, and Tolstoi. A relatively small portion of the cards have some slight trimming to the bottom edge and/or some period notations on the front. Large intact grouping loaded with star player cards: Range PR-VG/EX (Note, in order to provide perspective on the general condition of the cards, the condition range above does NOT reflect the clear coating)
