Description: 1947 Phil Rizzuto New York Yankees 19 consecutive wins presentational wristwatch. Fine quality 14K gold wristwatch presented to Phil Rizzuto in celebration of the 1947 Yankees record setting 19 consecutive victories. The watch remains intact with its original leather band. The facing of the dial has some wear to the plating and is not in working order. Reverse is inscribed, "Phil Rizzuto [facsimile signature] 1947 19 Straight Wins American League Record". The Yankees logo is also engraved onto the back plate of the watch. During the period from June 29th to July 18th, the Yankees reeled off a record tying 19 straight wins en route to another World Championship season. The 1947 Yankees streak places the team in rare company as only a few others in Major League history have either tied or surpassed that amount: EX/MT-NM
