Description: Vintage Joe DiMaggio scrapbook including a scarce July 17, 1941 ticket stub from the 56th game of the hit streak. Period bound scrapbook album containing numerous vintage news articles and photos relating to Joe DiMaggio with emphasis on the 56 game hit streak. Includes a very scarce original ticket stub for the game played in Cleveland on July 17, 1941 where DiMaggio's legendary streak came to an end. The ticket is affixed to an album page (removable if so desired) and has some damage to the right edge from chipping to the edges of the scrapbook pages. The scrapbook also includes a blue ink signature of DiMaggio on unlined paper and a loose ticket stub to the NY Yankees Sunday Sept. 30, 1951 game which was to be DiMaggio's final regular season game.
