Description: 1915 San Francisco Baseball Championship medal by Spalding. Very fine ornate solid gold medal is suspended from an inscribed pinback bar weighing .3oz. The pinback bar displays raised lettering, identifying it as the Spalding Medal issued for the 1915 Championship of San Francisco. The medallion pictures a batter and catcher scene with titling encircling the body. Reverse of the medal is inscribed to the "Washington School Champions" from A.G. Spalding and is marked as "Solid Gold". Uncommon gold medal of a very high quality with relation to early 20th century West Coast baseball: EX-MT
