Description: American League baseball attributed to the 1922 World Series from the O.S.F. collection. Moderately toned and lightly soiled Ban Johnson AL baseball attributed to have been used during the 1922 World Series between the Yankees and Giants. The ball is inscribed in period ink on a side panel, "1922 World Series" in the hand of Yankee player Everett Scott. The ball was originally obtained by Scott and includes its original calligraphy museum placed denoting its provenance from Scott.
