Description: Final home plate from the Polo Grounds right field bullpen. Offered is the original home plate that once resided in the right field bullpen at the Polo Grounds stadium in New York. Vintage rubber plate is marked by the Seamless Rubber Co. on the end panel and retains its original surface with excellent patination. Includes a letter of provenance from the gentleman who acquired the plate as a boy: EX
