Description: Rare baseball figural inkwell c.1900-1910. Ornate silverplated baseball figural inkwell features a full catcher figure at the center with numerous baseball bat and ball appointments. Blown glass ink jars retain their original lids with baseball shaped finials. 7" long, marked "Derby Silver Co." on the bottom. Baseball decorative inkwells of this period are fairly scarce with the offered example rating as one of the finest we have handled: EX-MT
