Description: Carl Hubbell's Baseball Hall of Fame Induction ring. Significant ring presented to Carl Hubbell for his induction into the National Baseball Hall of Fame. Classic 10K gold ring features an inset silver baseball on a black field with "Baseball Hall of Fame" lettering surrounding. "Pitcher" appears on one side panel above a relief image of the Hall of Fame. The other panel features "Hubbell" with crossed bat and ball motif. Stamped "LGB 10K" on the interior ring band. Hubbell led the New York Giants to several pennants during the 1930s, compiling 253 career victories and over 1,600 strikeouts. He is probably best remembered for his incredible performance during the 1934 All-Star game in which he struck out Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Jimmie Foxx, Al Simmons and Joe Cronin - in succession. Hall of Fame induction rings of this caliber rarely become available to the collecting public.
