Description: 1952 Johnny Rutherford Brooklyn Dodgers home uniform. Beautiful cream color flannel jersey retains its original "Dodgers" script blue team name across the front with red #15. Back retains its original blue #15. Rawlings tag with size "42" tag remains inside the collar and the tail front has "Rutherford 52-2" chain stitched in blue. The jersey exhibits evident use and wash wear remaining in outstanding original condition. Includes a pair of matching period Johnny Podres Spalding pants with "Podres 52" chain stitched onto an interior strip tag. The pants also have numerous player names written inside the waist band. Also includes a pair of matching Dodger blue socks. The uniform includes several supporting vintage items such as a Dodgers Spring Training 8"x10" team photo (pictures the offered jersey), 1954 issue of the Dodgers "Line Drives" newsletter, and a 1955 Dodgers typewritten letter as sent to the recipient of the jersey.
