Includes Spalding black leather cleats (missing laces): VG-EX; Spalding black leather cleats with "WOOD" written in vintage black ink on the interior of one shoe tongue (missing laces): GD-VG; and black leather cleats with "Wood" written in period black ink on the interior of one shoe tongue: VG-EX. The offered cleats were likely worn by Joe Wood as a member of the 1920s Cleveland Indians and/or as coach of the Yale baseball team c.1920-30s. Includes letter of provenance from the Wood family.รก
