Stunning 6 1/2"x9" matted and framed black and white image picturing Gehrig in full swing with the stadium grandstands providing a haunting backdrop. The photo is signed at the bottom left, "To 'Doc' Best Wishes from Lou Gehrig" in black fountain pen. Signature rates 9/10 out of 10 and contrasts very well with the image itself. Image quality is very strong with a few minor surface wrinkles and a line crease at the top left corner area. One of the finest Gehrig signed original photographs that we have handled.
