Description: ***LATE ADDITION*** Johnny Unitas 1959 NFL World Championship pendant. Oval shaped gold pendant in the manner of the Baltimore Colts 1959 NFL Championship ring as presented to Johnny Unitas. "Baltimore Colts World Champions" lettering encircles a diamond solitaire having floral garniture around the edges. The reverse of the pendant is dated 1959 with an embossed Colts horseshoe logo having "Colts 31 Giants 16" on the front. 3/4" tall. The pendant was believed to have been custom made for Unitas' wife by the Colts after capturing the 1959 title. Very finely crafted Championship award pendant dating to the finest season of Unitas' storied career. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this charm will be donated to the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Educational Foundation. Includes letter of provenance from the Unitas family: NM
