Description: Set of (9) Brooklyn Superbas cabinet photographs by Carl Horner c.1904. Complete set of individual player cabinet photographs as taken by master portraiture artist Carl Horner. Players are identified on the reverse incl. J.Mulvey, D.W. Daub, M.J. Griffin, J.H. Grim, W.Kennedy, and manager D.Foutz. The original mounts have been trimmed down to the image to varying degrees ranging from 3 1/2"x5 1/4" to 4 1/4"x6". Image quality is exceptional in the manner of Horner photography. Several of the photos have some light surface soiling. Uncommon to find such a large quantity of Horner portrait photography: Range VG-EX (With note to the mounts)
