Description: Baseball team cabinet photograph c.1860s. Very early mounted image of a uniformed team picturing (10) young players posed in a studio setting. Overall size is 3"x5" with Allegheny, PA photographer's stamping on the reverse. Period handwritten baseball scoring notations are written in pencil on the reverse. Front has some light soiling while retaining fairly strong contrast. Includes letter of provenance from the White family: VG-EX
