Description: 1882 Buffalo Bisons team cabinet photograph. Mounted composite image of the Buffalo BBC in vignette format with players identified underneath their images. Players include White, Galvin, O'Rourke, and Brouthers. Image quality is very fine with some very minor wrinkling at the bottom corners. Period mount is very unusual in that it has a period albumen image of a soldier on the reverse. While it is possible that this is a period replacement of the original mount, it was very common for studios of the era to use "overstock" mounts for such images.
