Description: 1887 Detroit Wolverines baseball team cabinet photograph. Mounted albumen image of the National League Champion Detroit team posed in full uniform in a studio setting. Players are identified at the bottom margin of the mount incl. Thompson, Bennett, White, Hanlon, Brouthers, and Richardson. Stamped by Tomlinson studios at the bottom left corner, which is partially missing as a portion of the mount has been trimmed. The Detroit club of 1887 captured the NL title behind the performance of its outstanding players including Hall of Fame members Brouthers, Thompson, and Hanlon. 8"x9 1/2" matted and framed: EX-EX/MT
