Description: Louisville Slugger advertising poster c.1920s. Thick stock paper poster measuring 16"x22" features an advertisement for Louisville Slugger baseball bats set against a forest backdrop. The piece was originally mailed to dealers for window display; the opposite "mailing" side features an 8 1/2"x11" advertisement of Ty Cobb endorsing Louisville Slugger bats. The poster has a small 1" chip at the border and has original mailing fold lines. Includes letter of provenance from Hillerich & Bradsby Co.: EX
