Description: 1919 World Series program. Historic program issued for Game #1 played at Cincinnati between the Chic. White Sox and Cin. Reds. Program is neatly scored in pencil and includes a notation about the Reds batter in the bottom of the first inning who was hit by an Eddie Cicotte pitch. That pitch was isn fact the signal that the "fix was on". The Reds went on to take the series amidst an enormous scandal implicating several White Sox players in throwing the 1919 World Series. The program exhibits some general handling wear with some soiling to the front cover and a loose interior scoring page: VG-EX
