Description: John Quinn 1934 U.S. All-Star Tour of Japan presentational pin. Presented to Quinn during the U.S. All-Star Tour, original orange and white silk ribbon is suspended from a beautiful silverplated baseball shaped pin bar with enameled U.S. and Japanese flags. The ribbon has gilt Japanese characters remaining in nearly pristine original condition. Silverplating and enamelwork on the pin bar remain very clean with minimal surface wear. One of only a few surviving examples with obvious original scarcity given the limited amount produced. Important to note that the condition is exceptional in comparison to other known examples, many of which have ribbons that are either tattered or missing altogether.
