Description: Rare Roger Bresnahan auto. letter. Typewritten letter sent to Sporting News authorizing the company to reproduce his signature in their various publications. The letter is signed in black fountain pen, "Roger P. Bresnahan" at the bottom rating 8/9 out of 10. Bresnahan was one of the game's most innovative players who gained notoriety for the use of catcher's shin guards in game play. The bottom of the letter has a small image of Bresnahan affixed to the front which is removable if so desired. Includes LOA from James Spence Authentication: EX/MT-NM
