Description: Fine 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #53. Easily the toughest and most desirable of the four Ruth cards from the 1933 Goudey set. Offered is the yellow background variation picturing Ruth batting which retains superb original color with four sharp corners. The card is well centered with a minute original red print line at the top left of the background area. Back of the card is very clean. One of the three Ruth cards on this page were obtained from a private collection many years ago. Exceptional rarity with absolute NM-MT qualities: SGC 84 NM
