Description: Louisville Slugger Home Run Derby display piece c.1961. Thick stock 12"x52" unused display piece issued by Louisville Slugger charts the 1961 home run race between Mantle and Maris to topple Babe Ruth's record of 61. Chart style display lists Ruth's totals for the month of August, 1927 and contains blank spaces to be filled in for Mantle and Maris as home runs are hit. Discovered in the H&B archives, the display remains in pristine original condition. Includes letter of provenance from Hillerich & Bradsby Co.: NM
